Founder of District Deejay, vinyl, and digital DJ and producer. Has Deejayed at Adams Morgan Day, many local events, and a number of private events. He also produces for many of the artists working with District Deejay and helps manage their promo and releases. He has also worked with rappers such as Lightshow on their songs and albums. One song that he assisted with was the District Deejay Remix of Where I’ll Stay by DJ Osiris.
DC-born rapper, who has released numerous albums in the past few years, as well as playing at venues such as Broccoli City Festival, DC Emancipation Day and The Fillmore. This year, Lightshow has released several singles, including hit Valentine’s Day release “On Call”, as well as teased an upcoming album this fall. He has worked with Nikhil on his cover art, merchandise design as well as general consulting.
A teenage artist, who has been releasing music for years now, with experimental hip-hop and electronic albums and singles in his portfolio. His journey began in 2015 with the YouTube releases of “Okay” and “Climb Higher” the following year. Nolan’s debut EP, “Mixed Emotions,” dropped in August 2017 and now Nolan is becoming more experimental with his debut LP, “D.F.F.R.N.T.” and his new self-titled album, “Nolan,” which dropped in September 2018.
Frontman for the legendary DC GoGo group E.U., Sugar Bear has been releasing music for over 30 years. With his songs being released on his own albums, as well as soundtracks such as Spike Lee’s School Daze. More recently, Sugar Bear and E.U. are working with Nikhil on their upcoming merchandise line, available at eusugarbear.com.
An emerging rapper in the district, and part of the PD$ label crew, Dblockpippen made his debut on streaming platforms in 2019 with “Fendi Pt. II”.
